GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Public Library is trying to motivate people to respond to the U.S. Census if they haven’t already.

This week and next week, the library’s bookmobile will be at different locations across Cascade County offering prizes such as wireless headphones and speakers to people who fill out a Census form.

The deadline to respond to the census is September 30.

This week, the bus has made stops in Centerville, Stockett, Sand Coulee, and Belt.

“(We) got to see about eight people there and got a couple of them to fill out the census, so it was kind of nice to get out in the smaller communities,” public service librarian Sara Linder-Parkinson said. "For us, it's about getting the numbers so we can get a representative back in office so that we can get the support for Montana that we need to.”

On Tuesday, September 29, the bus will be in Ulm at 8:30 a.m., and in Cascade at 11:30 a.m. On Wednesday, September 30, it will be in Simms at 9 a.m. and in Vaughn at noon.
